How healthy is your home?
During his presentation at the Denver Performing Arts Center last Wednesday, Dr. Myron Wentz’s passion for the health of the human cell was touching. At one point during the show, Dr. Wentz apologized to the crowd for always showing the slide of a lymphocyte. He explained that he doesn’t mean to play favorites, he loves all cells equally — which was clear by the way he paused and adoringly looked up to the giant amorphous image.
(That is exactly how I feel whenever I open a biology textbook. Our bodies are pure art.)
Last week I attended The Healthy Home book tour and I was beyond impressed! If it comes to your city, I highly recommend going! And keep your eye out for The Healthy Home appearance on The Nate Berkus Show (who Oprah picked to replace her time slot when she moves to her OWN network.)
World renowned microbiologist and immunologist Dr. Myron Wentz and his son, Dave Wentz, co-authored this easy and fun to read book that walks you through every room in your house and gives you simple ways to reduce your exposure to common toxic chemicals. (You’d be surprised how many we’re exposed to and where they hide!)
As the leading expert on cellular nutrition, Dr. Wentz makes a plea for us to help the cell do its job: bring in nutrients and push out waste. And the less waste to push out, the better.
Enjoy this video that wrapped up The Healthy Home tour, and be sure to check out the book! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. If you like this blog post, please share 🙂
